GoDaddy recently revealed that it will present Airo, its AI-powered platform, at the Super Bowl in 2025.
Aspiring business owners can use the platform to quickly transform their ideas into fully operational online businesses.
The major ad campaign marks GoDaddy’s return to the big game after an eight-year absence, introducing millions of viewers to Airo’s strong capabilities.
The company will use Super Bowl LIX next year to promote Airo, an artificial intelligence service that helps small business owners grow an online presence more quickly. The product was released in late 2023.
“The GoDaddy many remember from the Super Bowl between 2005 and 2017 focused on bold, sometimes provocative, approaches to democratize ideas, reminding everyone they could claim their part of the Internet,” says Rachael Powell, senior director of marketing, global brand, creative and research at GoDaddy. “While those ads strengthened and solidified GoDaddy brand awareness and made our brand synonymous with domains, we’ve evolved.”
According to a press release, approximately 3 million U.S. users have already used GoDaddy Airo’s tools to increase website traffic, sales, and social media engagement.
As GoDaddy Airo expands into 180 countries, the company hopes to assist small businesses to flourish in a competitive digital market.
“At GoDaddy, we champion the growth of small businesses, and artificial intelligence has become a transformative force for entrepreneurs looking to turn ideas into successful ventures — fast.
We launched GoDaddy Airo with the goal of empowering anyone with an idea to start their business in minutes,” GoDaddy CEO Aman Bhutani wrote.
GoDaddy Airo’s AI-generated social media posts have already helped businesses increase sales by up to 43% and engagement by up to 4.7 times.
GoDaddy’s decision to resume Super Bowl advertising is part of a bigger plan to reach out to more small business owners and promote entrepreneurship opportunities.
The GoDaddy Airo Super Bowl ad will be created in collaboration with creative house Quality Meats and directed by Ian Pons Jewell.
It will air during the fourth quarter of the big game and serve as the foundation for a year-long marketing campaign in the United States.
GoDaddy’s campaign is part of a bigger mission to increase opportunity for all, with the goal of inspiring potential entrepreneurs across the country.
Airo is intended to help entrepreneurs save time, increase sales, and develop more quickly by simplifying important business tasks such as website building, domain selection, and digital marketing.
The Super Bowl LIX campaign will introduce millions of people to GoDaddy’s expert guides and tools for online business success, which are available 24/7.
Businesses wanting to advertise in next year’s Super Bowl should be aware that the cost of Super Bowl advertising this year reached a new high of $7 million per 30 seconds.
System1’s research also found that brand characters surpassed celebrity endorsements in Super Bowl ads.
