Apple One Gets New Benefits With iOS 27, Including Apple Intelligence and Music Upgrades

Apple One is set to become more valuable with iOS 27, as subscribers will gain access to new features arriving across bundled Apple services such as iCloud+ and Apple Music. Here’s what is changing.

1: More Access to New Apple Intelligence Features

iOS 27 introduces a wide range of major Apple Intelligence enhancements, including the new Siri AI, advanced editing capabilities in Apple Photos, upgraded image generation tools, and more.

Although these features will be available to all users at no additional cost, some will come with daily usage restrictions. The applicable limits will increase based on the Apple One subscription tier.

2: HomeKit Secure Video Adds Four New Features

HomeKit Secure Video, another benefit included with iCloud+, is receiving four additional capabilities with iOS 27. According to Apple:

• 4K video: “supported HomeKit Secure Video cameras can now stream and record in 4K”
• Generated video descriptions: “users can quickly understand what happened across a sequence of video clips, even without watching them”
• Search in clips: “[users] can easily find what they’re looking for, like a package delivery”
• Noteworthy clips: “At the top of the Search page, the Home app elevates noteworthy clips that users may want to review, so they can quickly see important moments”

All four enhancements will be accessible to Apple One subscribers once iOS 27 launches. Users will only need a compatible smart camera and home hub to take advantage of them.

3: Apple Music Improvements

Apple Music is also receiving several new capabilities and refinements with the arrival of iOS 27.

• Landscape Now Playing on iPhone
• AutoMix with “even better transitions that feel more immersive and engaging”
• AutoMix support on Apple TV and HomePod
• Hi-Res Lossless Audio streaming in tvOS 27

Apple is also expanding Lyrics Translation and Lyrics Pronunciation to additional languages.

The company has further included several bug fixes designed to improve streaming reliability, reduce the loading time for the Now Playing view, speed up playback initiation, and deliver other performance improvements.
