Jennifer Hudson, Patti LaBelle, and Boyz II Men will headline the entertainment lineup for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game. As part of the ongoing America 250 celebrations, this year’s Midsummer Classic will take place at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on July 14.
Before the game’s top players take the field, Jennifer Hudson will perform “America the Beautiful,” while Patti LaBelle will deliver the national anthem.
The Godmother of Soul will be joined by the Military District of Washington Joint Chorus and the West Point Band for a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Boyz II Men will take the field at the end of the fifth inning to perform during the Stand Up to Cancer tribute. The annual ceremony will encourage fans to raise placards in honor of loved ones who have passed away, are currently battling cancer, or have been affected by the disease.
Philadelphia native Miles Teller will also participate in the pregame festivities by narrating a special segment highlighting how baseball has remained woven into the fabric of American society for more than a century.
“As we gather to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Philadelphia is the perfect stage to bring this milestone to life,” an MLB spokesperson said in a statement. “Our All-Star Game programming pairs global star power like Jennifer Hudson with incredible local flavor, featuring Pennsylvania’s own Miles Teller and homegrown icons Patti LaBelle and Boyz II Men. This lineup captures the unique energy of the city while honoring how baseball has been a part of the American spirit for 250 years.”
MLB also unveiled the 2026 All-Star rosters over the weekend, featuring 26 players making their first All-Star appearance. Following the Home Run Derby on July 13, The Fillmore in Philadelphia will host The Players Party, where 2 Chainz is scheduled to perform.
Fans can watch the 2026 MLB All-Star Game on FOX on Tuesday, July 14, at 8 p.m. ET.
