If you’d like to work remotely, from home, or any place in the world, you could go into graphic design, technology, or accounting.
According to recent research from FlexJobs, employers in these sectors are strengthening their commitment to a workplace model without requiring employees to have a fixed location or attend work every day, even as more businesses reduce their flexibility.
According to Toni Frana, lead career expert at FlexJobs, companies in the marketing, education, and gaming sectors are also hiring for more remote, flexible roles.
By evaluating its database and determining which companies had the highest volume of remote, location-flexible job postings between January and December 2023, FlexJobs has determined the top companies hiring for work-from-anywhere jobs in 2024.
Employees that work from anywhere are completely remote, regardless of their location or time zone.
There are no location restrictions and no time spent in the office for full-time or part-time remote jobs offered by any of the companies listed in FlexJobs’ ranking. See the complete list of 10 companies that have a lot of work-from-anywhere job postings here:

According to Frana, the slight increase in businesses actively hiring for work-from-anywhere positions has been the most noticeable change in the remote work landscape over the past year.
This year, FlexJobs is linking sixteen new companies. Meanwhile, other employers mentioned in the report, like Chainlink Labs and the Wikimedia Foundation, have been consistently hiring for flexible, remote positions in recent years. Frana notes that these companies are among the best bets for work-from-anywhere opportunities in 2024.
Salary ranges for many work-from-anywhere positions are well over $100,000. For instance, the Wikimedia Foundation’s job advertisement for a director of engineering specifies a salary range of $167,046–$260,066. The base salary listed for a senior product manager position at Invisible Technologies is $170,000.
Frana suggests using terms like “time zone independent,” “distributed team,” and “digital nomad” in your job search if you’re hoping to work from anywhere. These terms are frequently used in job descriptions to distinguish remote roles with location restrictions from work-from-anywhere roles.
To establish a personal connection and obtain a recommendation or the hiring manager’s contact details, she advises networking with current workers at the organizations you are applying to before applying. This will allow you to follow up on your application with a handwritten message.
Since the start of the pandemic, “we’ve seen a huge increase in job seekers looking at work-from-anywhere jobs on FlexJobs, and that’s hardly died down,” Frana adds. “One key to standing out, and landing these kinds of roles, is making that personal connection.”
