The Oakmont Country Club, located in the northeast Pittsburgh districts of Oakmont and Plum, Pennsylvania, will host the 72-hole stroke play competition from June 12 to 15.

The 125th US Open Golf Championship takes place this week, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Masters champion Rory McIlroy, and reigning champion Bryson DeChambeau leading the field.
Oakmont Country Club outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will host the June 12–15 tournament for a record 10th time, and the first time since Dustin Johnson won his first major in 2016.
The third major of the year in men’s golf will begin on Thursday, with 156 players competing. DeChambeau will be looking to earn a third championship after defeating McIlroy by a single stroke at Pinehurst last year.
With three victories so far this season, including his first PGA Championship, Paris 2024 Olympic gold champion Scheffler will be looking to add to his first US Open win.
After missing the cut at the Canadian Open this weekend, McIlroy, who won the Masters in April to complete his career Grand Slam, is aiming for a great comeback.
The Northern Irishman missed the weekend for the first time since the Open Championship the previous year.

The 125th U.S. Open championship week has begun, with practice rounds commencing Monday, June 9, and the championship’s first round set for Thursday, June 12, at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.

Gates are accessible every day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the U.S. accessible practice rounds, which take place from June 9 to 11.
The opening two rounds of the U.S. Open will begin at 6:45 a.m., with the final groups of each day teeing off at 2:42 p.m. on June 12 and 13. The fan gates open at 6 a.m. and remain open until the completion of the game.
The first pairing for Rounds 3 and 4 will begin play between 8 and 9 a.m. on June 14-15, depending on the number of players that reach the cut. The final pair will start from the first tee around 3 p.m. on Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
For the last two rounds, gates will open at 7 a.m. and remain open until the end of play.
