125th US Open Golf Championship 2025 Full Schedule, Fixtures, and How to Watch Live on TV

The United States Open Championship, the country’s official open golf competition, will be celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2025. The Oakmont Country Club, located in the northeast Pittsburgh districts of Oakmont and Plum, Pennsylvania, will host the 72-hole stroke play competition from June 12 to 15.

The 125th US Open is about to begin, with the championship making its record tenth return at Oakmont Country Club from June 12 to 15.

The 125th US Open Golf Championship takes place this week, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Masters champion Rory McIlroy, and reigning champion Bryson DeChambeau leading the field.

Oakmont Country Club outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will host the June 12–15 tournament for a record 10th time, and the first time since Dustin Johnson won his first major in 2016.

The third major of the year in men’s golf will begin on Thursday, with 156 players competing. DeChambeau will be looking to earn a third championship after defeating McIlroy by a single stroke at Pinehurst last year.

With three victories so far this season, including his first PGA Championship, Paris 2024 Olympic gold champion Scheffler will be looking to add to his first US Open win.

After missing the cut at the Canadian Open this weekend, McIlroy, who won the Masters in April to complete his career Grand Slam, is aiming for a great comeback.

The Northern Irishman missed the weekend for the first time since the Open Championship the previous year.
