International Nurses Day (IND) is celebrated around the world on 12 May, the anniversary of the founder of modern nursing Florence Nightingale’s birth, to mark the contributions that nurses make to society. The International Council of Nurses (ICN) honors this significant day every year with the production and distribution of the IND resources and evidence.
