Liverpool to Lift Premier League Trophy on Championship Sunday: How to Watch

The 2024-25 Premier League season concludes on Sunday, May 25, at 11 a.m. ET, with Liverpool lifting the club’s second PL trophy on “Championship Sunday,” which features all 10 matches broadcast live simultaneously across NBC, Peacock, USA Network, CNBC, SYFY, Telemundo, and Universo. This concludes NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2024-25 Premier League season.

When Liverpool hosts Crystal Palace (NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo), they will raise the trophy in front of their home crowd. NBC Sports studio team, which includes Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard, will be present at Anfield to host Premier League Mornings and Goal Zone live from a dedicated pitchside desk. Earlier this season, Liverpool won the English Premier League for the second time and tied the record with Manchester United for the 20th time. Due to pandemic protocol, the 2020 champions lifted the Premier League trophy in an empty stadium; this Sunday will be the first time Liverpool does so in front of their fans. Jon Champion, Lee Dixon, and Graeme Le Saux will give live coverage from Anfield for Liverpool’s match against Crystal Palace.

Jon Champion, Lee Dixon, and Graeme Le Saux will give live coverage from Anfield for Liverpool’s match against Crystal Palace. Sunday’s action begins with a two-hour Premier League Mornings on Peacock at 9 a.m. ET and continues at 10 a.m. ET on Peacock and USA Network.

What’s at stake during Championship Sunday?

There is a lot at stake come “Championship Sunday,” even though the lads from Anfield destroyed the rest of the Premier League table this season, largely due to new manager Arne Slot successfully guiding Liverpool’s ship out of the Jurgen Klopp era. This results from a very close race between the clubs in third and seventh place. Seven clubs compete for the remaining three spots, and because the top five EPL clubs are guaranteed a Champions League spot, the only thing hanging in the balance is the three-point gap. Let’s look at that part of the table:

The race for Premier League Champions League Automatic Qualification:

PL PositionClub (Points)“Championship Sunday” Match
3.Manchester City (68)at Fulham (Peacock)
4.Newcastle (66)v. Everton (Peacock)
5.Chelsea (66)at Nottingham Forest (USA Network, Universo)
6.Aston Villa (66)at Manchester United (CNBC, Peacock)
7.Nottingham Forest (65)v. Chelsea (USA Network, Universo)

On Sunday, Peacock will broadcast nine games live, six of which will be available for exclusive streaming. Sunday’s 11 a.m. ET multi-match window will offer coverage of the Manchester United vs. Aston Villa, Fulham vs. Manchester City, and Newcastle vs. Everton matches on Peacock’s well-liked Multiview feature. At 11 a.m. ET, Peacock will broadcast the Goal Rush whip-around show live, giving fans the most exciting action both in real time and on replay so they don’t miss a single goal or key play.

Goal Zone will air on NBC, USA Network, and Peacock after the games this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. At 2 p.m. ET, Goal Zone will only be on Peacock.

THIS SUNDAY IS THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW’S SEASON FINALE ON PEACOCK

This Sunday marks the premiere of a new season-finale episode of THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW, which will include a “Bournemouth Special” and be hosted by popular soccer personality Roger Bennett.

STREAMING ON PEACOCK

With exclusive matches, all games on the NBC broadcast network simulstreamed live, studio shows, full match replays, an always-on “Premier League TV” channel, and more, Peacock continues its extensive Premier League coverage this season. Peacock will offer comprehensive Spanish-language coverage of the Premier League in collaboration with Telemundo and Universo.

The NFL, Sunday Night Football, Big Ten football and basketball, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Notre Dame Football, the U.S. Women’s and Men’s National Teams soccer matches (in Spanish), golf, the NBA and WNBA in 2025 and 2026, respectively, and much more are all covered live on Peacock’s sports programming in addition to the Premier League.

Catch Up With Key Plays and Live Actions are just two of Peacock’s creative and popular features that improve the live viewing experience. Multiview will be available for Premier League games for the rest of the season.

How to watch Liverpool’s trophy celebration

The match between Liverpool and Crystal Palace will be broadcast on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo. Renowned broadcasters Jon Champion, Lee Dixon, and Graeme Le Saux will call the match. The Reds, who won the team’s second Premier League title and now share the record of 20 titles in England’s top flight with Manchester United, will lift the coveted cup in front of a boisterous home crowd.

The Reds had to celebrate with empty seats in front of them due to COVID protocols the last time they won the Premier League trophy in 2020. However, crowds of jubilant Liverpool fans will be cheering wildly as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, and the other guys from Anfield are welcomed.
