Meeting A Top NFL Free Agent; Dalton Patterson

Dalton Patterson is an athlete who has played to the topmost levels in football but has still maintained his entrepreneurial culture. He has been an NFL free agent cornerback and is based in New Orleans, Louisiana.

As a player, he never lets his entrepreneurial skills and zeal go un-utilized. He is a clothing brand owner, real estate investor, and a brand ambassador. He has worked with Iconic brands Like; fashion Nova, Spray Ground, Embellish, and Karter Collection.

You’re an Inspiring person to a lot of people, can you tell me a little about yourself?

First off I’m from New Orleans, louisiana. One of the hardest cities to thrive and make it out of. Went to john ehret & o perry walker high. Attended two colleges arkansas baptist junior college and western kentucky junior college where i played football at both. After college was training for the nfl and pulled both hamstrings at one time during a work out which kind of sent me back. At this time i was working at a car dealership for maybe 6 month. This was my first and last  9 to 5. It was at that point that i knew a job or working for someone should i say wasant the route i wanted to go. I needed my time and freedom more than anything.

It takes a lot for someone to achieve your level of success. To what do you attribute your win?

You have to have a very strong grind and be ambitious. You can’t worry about what others say or what they tell you you should be doing. Have to be strong minded and stick to what you believe in. you will have people in your ear telling you what you are striving for is too hard to achieve and what not but you gotta stay focused on the prize and where you want to be in life. Everyone does not have the mindset to keep going. When things get tough they give up. Where i wanted to be and what i want is life is far more stronger than my mind allowing me to give up.

If someone would want to emulate your career, what would you suggest are the most important things to do?

Like i said before you have to stay focus. Set your goals and keep pushing until you get them. Im great at marketing so i knew that me growing a following would play a strong part in my success. I have my clothing line Spade Blvd which is my main focus right now. And I’ve done real estate. I do have a problem helping people get started. What are the most exciting projects you are working on now?

Like I said earlier Right now my main focus is my clothing brand Spade Blvd. in the next few years I’d like to be one of the top brands on the market.
