No Time To Die: James Bond film trailer teases Daniel Craig in the last debut as 007

James Bond fans can take comfort finally with a new trailer presenting a typically explosive look at No Time To Die in front of its release in November.

The high-octane two-and-a-half-minute promotional video highlights Daniel Craig in his last debut as 007 – and hints at a plot twist that will ‘change everything’.

It shows Bond taking a chance with his life to save ‘millions’ from the detestable Safin, who is hellbent on vengeance and set for taking the British spy’s love interest.

Fans have waited five years since Craig’s past trip to Specter for the 25th film in the franchise.

No Time To Die was initially due to be released a year prior however a change of director, new scriptwriters, and an injury to Craig saw it pushed back. It was planned for its world debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London on March 31 – until the Covid pandemic implied another delay.

By that point, a first trailer had just been released. The modifying gave yesterday includes a further tester of the dramatic stunts and hard-battling women that Bond experiences.

He barely abstains from getting hit by a car while evading a shower of bullets before hopping off a bridge.

He participates in a tunnel shoot-out, escapes from a blast at sea, and encounters scar-faced Safin, played by Rami Malek, who hides his deformation behind a white Japanese noh mask.

‘James Bond, we both eradicate people to try and make the world a better place. I just want to be a little… tidier,’ he tells 007.

Our hero is re-introduced to his old nemesis Blofeld, played by Christoph Waltz, who has been caught.

Sitting shackled inside a cage in a jail cell, Blofeld discloses to Bond that destiny has united them over Safin, their common foe.

The clip proposes an association between the new villain and Lea Seydoux’s character Dr. Madeleine Swann. She discloses to Bond that Safin wants ‘revenge – me’ and a voiceover informs watchers: ‘When her secret comes out, it will be the death of him.’

The film begins with Bond in retirement in Jamaica and presents a female MI6 double-0 operator called Nomi, played by Lashana Lynch, who collaborates with him to take on Safin.

Bond additionally meets the mysterious Paloma, a ‘young lady in Santiago’ played by Ana de Armas, who reprimands him for being late before they fight off adversaries, with her taking out a man with a kick to the chest.

Characters from past movies incorporate Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny and M, again played by Ralph Fiennes. Jeffrey Wright returns as CIA operator Felix Leiter, who tells 007: ‘It’s harder to tell the good from bad, the villains from heroes these days.’

The video’s tagline reads: ‘This November, the mission that changes everything begins.’

Craig, 52, has affirmed this is his last trip as 007, after Quantum Of Solace, Casino Royale, Skyfall, and Specter. McMafia’s James Norton, 35, and Outlander star Sam Heughan, 40, are among those promoted as potential substitutions.

No Time To Die, co-composed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and directed via Cary Joji Fukunaga – got to supplant Danny Boyle – is released in the UK on November 12.
