Tom Moyal: from humble beginnings to founding and growing Digital Event into a prominent brand

Born and raised in Lyon, France, the 23-year-old Tom Moyal, better known as ‘MisterMoyal,’ is an entrepreneur, social media influencer, and web designer. Passionate about entrepreneurship and social media from a young age, he decided to pursue a digital marketing career. He says, “I have always been inclined towards creativity and love utilizing my talent to yield profits. This led me to migrate to Montreal, Canada, and enroll in La Salle College to learn the art of web designing. Armed with the degree, knowledge, and experience to create websites, I co-founded my company, Digital Event, in 2017 with my partner John-Kevin Lawson.”

Digital Event is a digital marketing agency that provides innovative solutions to clients and an impeccable 360-degree seamless experience. The array of services includes web designing, graphic designing, logo creation, search engine optimization, collaboration with influencers, and personalized Snapchat and Instagram filters. With his innate know-how of harnessing the power of social media for optimized results, Moyal has succeeded in pivoting Digital Event into a leading brand that creates customized marketing strategies, effective branding campaigns, engaging promotional activities, and compelling content to enable its clientele to boost their social media presence and yield profits. It also supports its clients right from the beginning of the project, the development phase, and post the launch.

In three years, leveraging his expertise, Moyal scaled the company and added to its repertoire top influencers such as Ana Montana, Dadju, Jessica Rich, Alexa Dellanos, Tana Mongeau, Jailyne Ojeda, Durrani Popal, Maitre Gims, among others. Digital Event has established an incredible name in the industry and has carved out a niche, particularly in the designing and developing of filters. Discussing the company’s success, Moyal shares, “I believe in hard work and providing value to my clients. It is vital to ensure your client’s success for your company to witness exponential growth. My passion and commitment towards my work gained me recognition and helped me scale my brand and launch FameFilters in partnership with top Entrepreneur MarQuis Trill.”

Moyal’s creative and high-quality filters have generated 80 million impressions to date, attracting top influencers, celebrities, and brands that have collaborated with him to create an original face or brand filters and other effects for them. “Filters are an excellent way to boost and elevate brand engagement as people need to follow the brand or at least visit their profile to gain access to the filter,” he concludes.
