Google Handwashing Video Doodle Praises Ignaz Semmelweis During Novel Coronavirus Pandemic; Procedure to Wash Hands

Internet search engine Google on Friday (March 20, 2020) posted a handwashing video Doodle recognizing Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Ignaz Semmelweis, a German and Hungarian doctor, was generally ascribed as the first individual to find the medical advantages of handwashing.

Friday’s Google Doodle reveals a video of the best way to appropriately wash your hands. Handwashing is one of the least demanding and best approaches to prevent disease, diminish the spread of germs and infections. “Today’s Doodle recognizes Hungarian physician Dr Ignaz Semmelweis, widely attributed as the first person to discover the medical benefits of handwashing. Born on July 1, 1818, Ignaz Semmelweisis renowned for presenting hand disinfection standards in obstetrical consideration.

Google said its handwashing doodle follows the official rules on the most proficient method to appropriately wash your hands from the World Health Organization.
