They say if you wish to be successful in life, surround yourself with people who tell you things how they are, without the sugarcoating, without the deceit. Any relationship, any political or domestic construct that has its foundations built on anything but the truth, will not survive. It will only be a matter of time until it crumbles to the ground.
The truth is fundamental to the survival of a society and bringing people together. Let’s discuss how.
As important as it is to know the truth, it isn’t always a cakewalk. The truth can often be a very bitter pill to swallow, especially when you are alone in facing it.
It is scientifically proven that shared struggle evokes feelings of love among one another. And as a result of that love, people unite to get to the bottom of the bitter truth. The bitterness subsides, and the repercussions are divided.
Everyone looks out for each other.
In a society where everyone is working tirelessly to support their families, they ought to know what is happening in the world around them. In essence, humans owe the truth to themselves and the plight they go through on a daily basis. They cannot simply work under governance or for relationships that are not truthful. This notion breeds conflict, yet the urge to set things right binds people together.
Someone who knows the truth is significantly more powerful than one who does not know or does not try to. Everyone wishes for power. However, the ones that do find power are bold enough to embrace the truth.
The path isn’t easy if you’re alone, but if a community or society pursues a singular goal, which is to uncover the truth, nothing can stand in their way. The truth is absolute, something that people cannot disagree with.
This is the power of the truth.
