Know more about young Social Activist, Aditya Sharma

In today’s time we see more and more of the youth taking up the mantle and making sure their voices are heard. Their voice definitely matters because they’re this country’s future. So it is only appropriate that we talk about one such activist from Madhya Pradesh, Aditya Sharma.

Aditya Sharma, 20 is from Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh, a social worker and a student activist.

What is the role of social worker?

The role of a social worker is to shield vulnerable people, develop relationships and where possible help families to stay together while sticking to these guidelines. They also support people to enable them to live a happy life as possible. Social workers work as part of multi-disciplinary teams with other professions such as education, health and probation services.

This is to make sure that all aspects of the service users’ life are taken into consideration when help is being discussed. If this is completed effectively no aspect of the service users’ life is left without any help if it is needed. Social workers work in various different organizations. Some work for local authorities in children and adult services departments there are also social workers working in hospitals and the voluntary and private sector.

Sharma is an active member of the world’s biggest youth organization, Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarti Parishad (ABVP).

ABVP’s manifesto includes agendas such as educational and university reforms. They believe in overall development of the youth rather than just being career oriented.

They are the face of youth empowerment and have been promoting and organising many youth developmental programs throughout the country in association with different political parties.

Sharma is also the founder member of Bharat Youth Forum, which is an organisation of hardworking and determined youth.

Bharat Youth Forum has been at the forefront of making a difference in students’ life. Located at the intersection of community and life, Bharat Youth Forum is a life-affirming journey that builds on the richness and power of lifelong values.
