
March Madness is well underway, as the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament has reached the Sweet 16 milestone. Following a weekend of collegiate basketball play, the field for the 2025 NCAA men’s tournament has been officially reduced to 16. There were many amazing moments, exciting finishes, and upsets throughout the first weekend of the 2025 March Madness tournament. With several prestigious universities and college basketball powerhouses, including all No. 1 seeds, we are now heading to the Sweet 16. See below for all the information you need to know for the Sweet 16.
Auburn, Duke, Florida, and Houston all advanced. These top seeds moved on in the tournament. There have been very few big upsets, making this year’s tournament quite unusual.
Arkansas is the lone double-digit seed in the Sweet 16. They shocked No. 2 seed St. John’s in round two. Otherwise, the top teams are winning.
A spot in the Elite Eight is up for grabs on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30. The Sweet 16, the next stage of the NCAA’s renowned college basketball tournament, will take place from Thursday, March 27, to Friday, March 28.

The Sweet 16 round of the men’s NCAA Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28. Every day, there will be four games. All times are Eastern.
The games will be streamed on March Madness Live and televised on CBS, TBS, and truTV.
