This is Gronkowski’s subsequent time resigning from the NFL, having recently draped up his cleats in New England in the wake of playing from 2010 to 2018 with the Patriots prior to returning in 2020 to play two seasons with the Buccaneers.

Gronkowski, 33, composed on social media-based entertainment, “I want to thank the whole entire first-class Buccaneers organization for an amazing ride, trusting me to come back to play and help build a championship team. I will now be going back into my retirement home, walking away from football again with my head held high knowing I gave it everything I had, good or bad, every time I stepped out on the field.

“The friendships and relationships I have made will last forever, and I appreciate every single one of my teammates and coaches for giving everything they had as well. From retirement, back to football and winning another championship, and now back to chilling out, thank you to all.”

Over his 11 NFL seasons, Gronkowski was essential for four Super Bowl-winning teams, multiple times with the Patriots and again with the Buccaneers.

“Rob is a true professional who left it all on the field for us the past two seasons and helped establish a championship culture in our building,” Tampa Bay General Manager Jason Licht said.

Gronkowski holds two Super Bowl records – – most professional receptions by a tight end and most getting yards at the position.

His 92 career getting touchdowns rank third in NFL history among tight finishes, behind just Antonio Gates’ 116 and Tony Gonzalez’s 111, in spite of Gronkowski playing essentially fewer games (143) than Gates (236) and Gonzalez (270).

Gronkowski played all of his NFL seasons with quarterback Tom Brady. The duo’s 90 standard season touchdown associations make them the second most productive score passing/catching tandem in NFL history behind just Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison’s astonishing 112 score consummations.

The 33-year-old resigned in 2019 after nine seasons with the Patriots yet returned in 2020 when Brady went to the Buccaneers. The dear companions teamed up to assist Tampa With baying wins a Super Bowl in 2021.

In any case, when Tom Brady dumped the Patriots for the Buccaneers before the 2020 season, it was enough for Gronkowski to emerge from retirement to play in Tampa Bay.

He would assist the Buccaneers with getting to the Super Bowl during that year and would score two touchdowns in the game to give Tampa Bay their subsequent title in franchise history. He and Brady have the most touchdowns among any pair in the postseason with 84.
