The 2022 NHL Awards show is happening Tuesday night, and we will at long last get familiar with the winners of all the awards for the 2021-22 season.
To assist with preparing you for the event, here’s a list of the finalists for the five awards to be introduced during the broadcast, as well as a rundown of all the honors recently declared for this present month.

The player who showed the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly play, as voted on by the PHWA.
Winner: Kyle Connor, Winnipeg Jets
Goalie(s) who played at least 25 games, and whose team permitted the least goals.
Winner: Frederik Andersen and Antti Raanta, Carolina Hurricanes
The player who best exemplifies leadership on and off the ice, and makes a vital humanitarian contribution to his community.
Winner: P.K. Subban, New Jersey Devils
Coach of the year, as voted on by the NHL Broadcasters Association.
Winner: Darryl Sutter, Calgary Flames
The player who exemplifies great leadership qualities to his team on and off the ice, given contributions from fans, clubs, and NHL personnel, and decided by Messier.
Winner: Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings
A person who uses hockey as a platform to teach teamwork, humility, and respect, and to build inclusive communities.
