Google 3D Animals feature: Steps to use Google 3D feature and list of the animals that view in 3D

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic prompting a lockdown in several countries across the globe, individuals are limited to the four walls of their homes. In an offer to keep the individuals engaged, Google has propelled a new feature permitting a 3D viewing of animals.

To use the feature, an individual should look through the name of an animal on google. Following that, they should locate a little box that says “Meet the (insert animal name) up close.”

The box will show up beneath the picture search results and the Wikipedia description of the animal. Following that, the individual needs to tap ‘view in 3D’ button, and afterward ‘view in your space’ to see the animal in your surroundings.

Nonetheless, to do this, google will expect access to the camera connected to your desktop, laptop, or computer, with the goal that it can embed an animal into the vicinity.

Also, the gadget must be AR-enabled for the feature to work. For Android clients, an operating system of Android 7.0 or later versions are expected to install the feature. For iPhone clients, an operating system of iOS 11.0 or later is required.

Steps to use Google 3D feature

To use Google 3D feature, you need to Google the name of the animals. For instance, Google ‘cheetah’ and follow the steps referenced below.

In the search results, you will see a box that says, “Meet a life-sized cheetah up close”.

At that point click on the ‘view in 3D’ button, and continue to click ‘view in your space’ to see the cheetah close to you.

To activate this feature, you should give Google access to your camera.

And afterward, you will see the animal standing directly before you!
