Find your ‘Perfect Skin from within’……
The skincare industry is worth billions of dollars annually and growing. The COVID-19 pandemic has unsurprisingly seen a sharper increase in this growth, with new issues such as ‘Zoom Face’ and ‘Maskne’ arising. Furthermore, people have had to rely purely on home skincare due to lockdowns making skin clinics inaccessible. At least, this is the opinion of leading doctor in the aesthetic field, Dr Dev Patel. We had the pleasure of speaking to him about his long-awaited clinical skincare range, CellDerma. “CellDerma was borne out of passion for all things skin and a desire to create a range of skincare products based on ‘clean science’, sustainable ingredients and formulations which work at the cellular level to effect real change towards healthier skin. This company was not started to make money. I actually just wanted a good serum on my own clinic shelf that I could call my own. Nothing more. However, with each step of the journey that started in 2015, I was unknowingly driving myself towards an entire range of products that would exceed even my own expectations.”
Dr Dev Patel is also Founder and Medical Director of the multi-award-winning cosmetic skin clinic, Perfect Skin Solutions, based just 90 minutes south of London, UK. “We soft launched CellDerma at our clinic and the response from our patients has been overwhelming to the products. Considering that most patients are already using a very good range of products, it is emotional to hear when they report even better clinical results from having introduced just one or two CellDerma products.”

So what is the hero product in the range? “Well we started with saying the GF5, Bio-regenerative Growth Factor Serum was; a total all-rounder for general anti-ageing, wound healing, scar treatment and so much more. However, with our opening line-up of six products, this almost feels like the skincare version of Justice League; all our heroes in their own right!”
What next? “The next release will more than double the line-up, with a lip plumping product, latest generation retinoid (more powerful than retinol but with no irritation), a brightening serum, hydrating cleanser and much more. I wanted to get this right so have not rushed to get everything out on the shelves in one go. I have no shareholders or investors to nag me about the bottom line. I simply want to put the best possible products in my clinic, that really do deliver powerful results. Eventually we will have CellDerma in other reputable clinics and high-end salons; indeed, I have already had quite a few calls from colleagues in the industry asking about the brand.”
