From flab to fit- the inspirational story behind Karan Kapoor:
In recent times being fit has become an obsession with people of all ages. However, everyone has to
start their journey at some point or the other. While many are willing to take on this responsibility
themselves, others might require an impetus. This is where Karan Kapoor comes in. Hailing from
Kanpur, India, Karan Kapoor is a rising fitness influencer and professional fitness model. His biggest
claim to fame is receiving the title of Mr World 2022 and Mr Asia 2019.
Karan Kapoor’s story starts like that of many others. As a child, he was overweight and was often
bullied by his peers for it. With the desire to change the very thing that was hurting him both
physically and mentally Karan Kapoor began his weight loss journey as a young teen when he was
around 14 years of age. Karan Kapoor did at-home workouts and followed an exercise regime that
targeted weight loss. It was only after he completed High School and had the opportunity to work
harder on his body that Karan Kapoor took up going to the gym to kickstart his fitness journey. In
2017 Karan Kapoor took part in the annual competition for Mr UP. The competition brought him
loads of fame as well as support which helped Karan Kapoor change his views on fitness and go for a
more professional outlook on it all.
At present Karan Kapoor spends his time working as a fitness model and influencer. His main
platform of choice as of last year is Moj a trending video-sharing application in India. Karan Kapoor
began sharing his progress pictures and fitness poses to inspire people to work on their physiques as
well. It is safe to say that Karan Kapoor has succeeded in that goal as many look up to him not only in
his capacity as a fitness enthusiast but also because of his friendly and charming personality which
has the power to motivate others even in times of distress. In particular, Karan Kapoor’s fan base,
which is spread all over India, also considers his diet to be one of the best. The major structure of the
diet is based on two pillars- low in carbohydrates and high in protein. Food items like rice, white
bread, roti, sugar, milk and oily gravies are a complete no-no and Karan Kapoor easily substitutes
their nutritional value by eating boiled chicken, brown bread, green tea and egg whites.
Although Karan Kapoor has come a long way from being that pudgy child to a benchmark of fitness
and activity, he believes that he still has a long way to go and ensures that he will do his best to keep
winning competitions like the Mr World title. If you want to know more about Karan Kapoor, make
