Tapasvi Kumar: Philosophy meets rap
Tapasvi Kumar is an independent artist from India who makes bold and meaningful music. He is known as a philosopher-rapper because his songs mix spirituality, emotions, and social issues. His special way of writing and honest messages have helped him gain many fans across the country.
One of his most popular songs is the Shiva Song, where he raps the 108 names of Lord Shiva with high energy, mixing devotion with modern music. Another song, Murga (Bali Ka Bakra), talks about animal sacrifice and asks people to be kind to animals. This song has started many conversations about eating meat versus being a vegetarian.
Tapasvi also started his own music label called The Loyal Studios. It helps new artists by supporting them in making and sharing their music online. He left his job at Fluor Corporation to follow his dream of making music. He also opened Loyal Jampad in Delhi — a popular place where artists can practice and jam in a friendly and professional space.
With millions of views on his music, Tapasvi continues to inspire others and create songs with deep meaning. Along with his own new songs, many other artists will also release their music through his label soon — bringing fresh ideas and strong messages.
