Brazilian Model Kamilla Rodrigues Almeida on Setting Trends in the Digital Space
Being a fashion influencer on Instagram can be a challenging space to be in. However, with lots of hard work and a little luck, Kamilla Rodrigues Almeida is setting trends by merely posting on her account.
Almeida is a top Instagram star and fashion influencer. She has 168k followers and regularly gets about 5,000 likes per post. She is a fashion ambassador for the brand Fashion Nova and is also associated with Prettylittlething, Ego Official, and Zaful.
She works extensively with Fashion Nova, modeling designs from their collections, especially dresses. It is safe to say that Almeida feels passionately for the brand.
“When I was getting started, I found myself wearing lots of Fashion Nova products,” she said. “I loved their designs so much and wanted them to get more attention. I reached out to them about getting involved with their company, and now I’m one of their top brand ambassadors.”
Almeida started with posting bikini photos, but her reach multiplied quickly, and she decided to showcase a more diverse range of outfits to propagate her sense of style.
“I love being creative and making new outfits to showcase online,” Almeida says. “I want to be the go-to influencer for fashion, both in Brazil and beyond.”
Almeida tends to prefer daring, colorful outfits and is not keen on being understated. She wears colors like bright orange, neon yellow, and every shade in the rainbow, colors that most women would be too intimidated to try.
“I want to inspire women to change things up and wear what they want,” she said. “If you want to wear a skimpy bikini out to the pool, you should feel comfortable doing that!”
Almeida posts stunning photos from around the world against beautiful backdrops such as the ocean, murals, and popular tourist attractions. She aims to show her followers all of the places where her fashion influences come from, and change up their fashion expectations.
Getting on Instagram has given Almeida many new opportunities. She started posting pictures of herself in Brazil, but she soon had the means to travel to new places. She’s gone to many alluring destinations, including Thailand, Singapore, Bali, France, Dubai, Greece, and several others.
Almeida wants to use her Instagram account to let people across the globe view her unique, exciting sense of fashion. Her distinctive sartorial choices are certainly making waves all over the digital space, and especially so on Instagram.
