MLB World Series 2023 Schedule, Fixtures, and How & Where to Watch Diamondbacks vs Rangers Fall Classic matchup

The Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks will play Game 1 of the 2023 World Series on Friday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington. In ALCS Game 7, the Rangers defeated the Houston Astros, the reigning champions, on Monday night to win their first pennant since 2011. In the meantime, the Diamondbacks defeated the Phillies in Tuesday night’s NLCS Game 7 to guarantee their first trip to the World Series since 2001.

At the very least, the 2023 Fall Classic will run through October 31. November 2023 is when the 2023 World Series will conclude unless a four-game sweep occurs.

Despite Texas’ two previous trips to the World Series (in 2010 and 2011), the Rangers are still seeking their first franchise championship. In 2001, the Diamondbacks made it to the World Series for the first time and defeated the Yankees in seven games to win the series.

Globe Life Field opened in 2020, and although the Rangers have never participated in a World Series there, the Fall Classic has been held there before. In 2020, when the MLB season was shortened due to COVID-19, the ballpark served as the neutral-site World Series host.

In the 2023 Major League Baseball Playoffs, the Texans Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks will play each other in the World Series.

Here is the World Series game schedule, television information, and schedule for the best-of-7 MLB playoff series.

Game 3 and Game 4 will take place at Chase Field in Phoenix, while the first two games will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Game 6 and Game 7 would, if needed, return to the Rangers stadium, with Game 5 potentially taking place at the Diamondbacks stadium.

The Philadelphia Phillies were defeated by the Diamondbacks in seven games, advancing them to the World Series.

After seven games, the Houston Astros were defeated by the Rangers.
