Khurram and Co Solicitors are a private law firm based at 119 Spon Lane, West Bromwich, B70 6AS. The practice consists of experienced lawyers and is operated by Mr. Abdullah Khurram alongside Mr. Umar and Mr. Adeel, specialists in immigration, asylum and family divorce areas of law.

Our main purpose is to provide legal services to underprivileged communities whilst ensuring they receive specialist advice in their relevant matters. We are proud to provide a free initial consultation, commitment free, before a client wants to progress with us.

The practice closely works with a range of statutory and voluntary sector organizations whilst having a good reputation, with our peers. We are well known and appreciated for providing a professional and affordable service to our clients.

We are open from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. Our office is accessible as it is a minute walk from the bus stop and a 10-minute walk from the tram station in West Bromwich town centre. Our team can communicate in Urdu, Murpuri, Hindi and Punjabi. We provide home visits facilities upon request. In light of unforeseen circumstances, we have an emergency telephone contact out of hours. We have access to interpreters in all languages should they be required.

Mr. Khurram’s journey began in 2003 and he has practiced in immigration law, EEA, Asylum along with offering his assistance with PBS applications. Throughout his journey, he has built an excellent reputation among communities.

In addition, he has dealt with cases at all levels of the UK Courts system and has submitted applications at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Mr. Khurram is a prominent public speaker and proudly features his services on live legal shows, broadcasted worldwide, such as Sanjhi Awaz Radio and Hum Aur Kanoon on digital TV.

Although Mr. Khurram specializes in immigration and criminal law, he has, however, substantial experience in family cases in particular Divorce. Moreover, he is nationally recognized for his immigration advice.

Mr. Umar Khurram is a qualified solicitor who has specialist experience in advising and representing clients at the Immigration Courts since 2009. In addition, recently he has acted on behalf of clients at the High Court and Court of Appeal with a high success rate.

Moreover, he also deals with family law cases and undertaking training for representation in immigration cases. He is a specialist in immigration and asylum advice. He has successfully made representations in appeals, spouse/marriage visas, Visitor entry clearance, European applications, asylum and family reunion, nationality applications, bail, and deportation. 

Mr. Umar is confident in giving legal advice, researching cases and legislation.  He conducts his own advocacy in representing clients in court and has many positive decisions in his favor.

In addition to this, he regularly deals with family and probate matters; particularly divorces and the drafting and execution of will and last testaments.

Similar to Mr. Khurram, Mr. Umar is also our resident celebrity, hosting national radio talk shows regularly.

Mr. Umar is passionate about human rights and is always ready to support a worthy cause.  He introduced many charitable causes/schemes, including Will Aid (Will Aid supports the work of its nine partner charities), Coffee Mornings (with Macmillan Cancer Support), Walk4Palestine (via justgiving.com for SKT – WELFARE), and supported 5k Race for life (for Cancer Research UK).

Over the years, Mr. Umar has undertaken the pro-bono advice surgery and has provided free legal advice at local libraries, community centers (profit and non-profit), and churches.  He is a board member at Birmingham Asian Resource Centre, which a charitable organization is based on 110 Hamstead Road in Handsworth established in 1977.

Mr. Adeel joined the firm in 2014, he has successfully completed his Law degree with honors and his Legal Practice Course.  

Mr. Adeel qualified as a solicitor in 2020 having 4 years of immigration experience. He specializes in Immigration, Family law, and Wills.  He has built a niche in PBS immigration cases where his success is going from strength to strength, with consistently positive feedback.

Mr. Adeel is passionate about helping the less fortunate as he ran/led a successful food bank in the peak of the Covid-19 Pandemic as well as being part of the Will Aid program, which allowed him to take on Pro-bono cases.
