What was your background before you went into entrepreneurship?
I was born in the Bronx, NY and grew up in Maryland. In middle school I got into wrestling, eventually becoming a state champion and earning a D1 athletic scholarship. Due to my athletic career I suffered from a back injury and really had to hone my mindset to overcome it.
What industries have you worked in?
Retail, property management, direct mail, consulting, and home services, just to name a few. Going into industries I’m unfamiliar with is intimidating, but I’m not afraid to learn as I go if I think it’ll be successful.
What drives you to keep going each day?
The desire for success. I’m highly competitive and have the natural drive to keep pushing myself. Facing new challenges is the best way to grow, so I’m always looking for something new to try.
