Steps to use Google Drive offline
Google Drive permits clients to store, synchronize files across devices, and share files. Videos, photos, presentations, PDFs, Microsoft Office files, and so on can be securely stored in your Google Drive and it is extremely simple to upload and download large files using it.

Steps to use Google Drive offline
Save and open Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides offline before you turn on offline access through this strategy:
- You ought to be connected to the internet.
- Make sure to use the Google Chrome browser.
- Don’t use the private browsing mode.
- Install and turn on Google Docs Offline Chrome expansion.
- Ensure there is sufficient accessible space on the device to save the files.
Open Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides in offline mode
- Open the Google Chrome browser.
- Make sure you are signed in to Chrome.
- Now, go to drive.google.com/drive/settings.
- Tick the box next to ‘Sync Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drawings files to this PC with the goal that you can edit offline.’
Save Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for using offline
- Open your PC and go to drive.google.com.
- Right-click on the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides file to be saved offline.
- Now, turn on ‘available offline.’
Note: To save multiple files offline, press Shift or Command (Mac)/Ctrl (Windows) while clicking different files.
Preview files offline using Google Drive
- Open your PC and go to drive.google.com.
- Make sure to turn on offline access.
- Then, at the top right, click the icon of ready for offline.
- Click offline preview.
