The Chocolate Fest is coming back to Jonesborough
Something sweet is getting back to Jonesborough. The second weekend in February will see the ninth annual Chocolate Fest, a two-day event organized by the Jonesborough Area Merchants & Service Association. All proceeds will be used to help the town’s small businesses and community.
Visitors can stroll downtown Jonesborough to pick up chocolate treats provided by the town’s small businesses during Chocolate Fest, where one ticket is good for one chocolate treat. Tickets will be available for $20 in packs of 10 and must be ordered in advance.
The festival will be held on Saturday, February 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2–5 p.m., and on Friday, February 9, from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
That Friday from 5-8 p.m., JAMSA will be offering a special ticket for individuals over 21 called “Chocolate After Dark,” in addition to additional events and entertainment. Attendees can sample five beverages and ten foods at participating downtown businesses when they purchase the $35 combo ticket.
Early ticket pickup takes place inside the Jonesborough Visitors Center, located at 117 Boone St., from Monday, February 5, through Thursday, February 8. The Chocolate After Dark tickets must be picked up on Friday since they require an ID check.
Rain or shine, Chocolate Fest will take place.
