Ahmed Zaki Metwally Abdelrahman Badawi (أحمد زكي متولي عبد الرحمن بدوي) was born on 18 November 1949 in the city of Zagazig, around 50 miles north of Cairo, Egypt. He was commonly known as Ahmed Zaki (أحمد زكي).
