Gemini Expands Connected Apps With Ticketmaster, Angi, Zocdoc and More

AI assistants become considerably more useful when they can interact with other parts of your digital life, and Gemini is broadening its integrations with more than a dozen new connected apps, including Ticketmaster, Angi, Zocdoc and others.

Gemini is adding more connections.

Google unveiled a large number of new hardware products during yesterday’s Made by Google event, but the company’s AI platform also received a range of significant updates of its own.

Google says a “new slate” of connected applications will begin rolling out to Gemini “over the next few weeks.”

One of the announcements revealed that Gemini will soon support connections with several third-party applications. The lineup spans a wide range of categories, including productivity, health, lifestyle, entertainment and home services. The complete list includes:

  • Granola
  • Otter.ai
  • Wix
  • Fever
  • GetYourGuide
  • Localize
  • OpenTable (UK)
  • Ticketmaster
  • iHeartRadio
  • Pandora
  • Angi
  • Thumbtack
  • Zocdoc

In practical terms, users should be able to reserve a table for dinner, arrange tickets to a concert later that day, and create a related Pandora playlist without having to leave their conversation with Gemini. Pretty sweet.

These services add to an already extensive selection of Gemini connected apps, including Canva, GitHub, Google Home, Instacart, WhatsApp and others. It is also worth noting that OpenTable integration was already available to users in the US. The newly announced expansion brings OpenTable support to users in the UK.
