An Eye-opening Interview With Entrepreneur Rom Raviv
Rom Raviv can best be described as a young individual who loves bringing his ideas to life. Rom is a popular social media figure with over 500,000 followers on the TikTok app, as well as the host of Spreading success, a podcast where he interviews successful entrepreneurs for essential business tips.
Rom is also a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder of Podblade, a podcast editing agency that helps several podcast hosts and businesses turn their podcasting passion into a profitable business.
Recently, I had the opportunity of getting a one-on-one discussion with Rom Raviv. The interview was focused on getting to know more about him, his podcasting skills, his growing podcast editing agency, his plans for the future, and the secrets to his success at a young age. Here is the conversation we had;
So Rom, Can You Tell Me More About Yourself?
My name is Rom Raviv, and I come from New York, Long Island precisely. I am an 18-year old podcast host and entrepreneur. My podcast is called Spreading success, and I also own a podcast agency called Podblade, which was created to help people and businesses achieve success with their podcasts.
You have clearly set yourself apart from your competitors; Tell us, what’s the secret?
The biggest thing that helped build a name for my brand and me is providing podcasters with the services they actually needed. For instance, many other editing companies charge hundreds of dollars per episode and miss out on some crucial aspects of running a podcast like social media content, uploading the episodes to a podcast host, etc.
As a host, I realized that I had to get those little details when trying to build a lasting relationship with my clients. Also, by interviewing some of the most innovative industry players, I made a name for myself.
Last year was a terrible year for everyone. Did you face any obstacles during the pandemic? If yes, how did you overcome them?
I suffered early setbacks in mid-2020 when my partner and I split up. This affected my business because it was still at a growing stage, and I had to figure out things independently.
Also, there was the challenge of having people to partner with me. This came with many rejections because it took a lot to convince people to key into my vision.
I overcame these challenges by putting in the hours to learn everything I did not know. By doing this, I became knowledgeable in my field. I started looking into other directions regarding the business part because the world is abundant with clients, money, and opportunities.
What keeps you motivated, and what advice would you give those just starting out?
My motivation comes from the freedom to escape from the 9-5 and creating a life-long impact. My goal is to make sure the ones around me are succeeding. If there is something you have wanted to start and build, take the time now to take that first leap because that first step will be huge for long-term success and momentum.
