Apple Expands Apple Intelligence with Global Language Support and Vision Pro Integration in Major AI Update
Apple (AAPL) is adding French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese to its list of languages for Apple Intelligence, its personalized AI system. English translations will also be made available in Singapore and India. With this change, more people will be able to communicate with Apple’s AI technology in their own tongue across the world.
The release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 in April will make these new languages available in almost every region of the world, and developers can begin testing these releases today.
With the forthcoming software updates, Apple Intelligence features will be made available to iPhone and iPad users in the EU for the first time. Additionally, Apple Intelligence will explore a new platform in U.S. English with Apple Vision Pro, enabling users to express themselves, communicate, and collaborate in completely new ways. Additionally, Apple Intelligence features will be available on the Vision Pro device, which should enhance the user experience overall.
Apple Intelligence is a remarkable advancement in AI privacy and is built to protect users’ privacy at every turn. The first is on-device processing, which means that a lot of the models that drive Apple Intelligence are fully device-based. The privacy and security of the iPhone are extended into the cloud by Private Cloud Compute to unlock even more intelligence for requests that need access to larger models.
More capabilities for Siri are among the new features that Apple Intelligence will continue to add in the upcoming months.
