Kids’ Choice Awards 2020: Here is a full list of winners
The Kids’ Choice Awards 2020 may have been produced virtually, yet there was still no deficiency of slime during Saturday’s broadcast. Shawn Mendes and NBA champ LeBron James each won two awards at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2020: Celebrate Together. Mendes won favorite male artist and, with his girlfriend Camila Cabello took the award for favorite music collaboration for “Señorita,” their No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
LeBron James won an award for favorite male sports star and got a special award, Nickelodeon’s 2020 Generation Change Award, to pay tribute to his commitment to education.
Avengers: Endgame, the top box-office hit of 2019, was named favorite movie. The Kids’ Choice program incorporated a special appearance from cast individuals Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner. Their blockbuster superhero film “Avengers: Endgame” won favorite movie, and Spider-Man actor Tom Holland was voted favorite superhero.
“Victorious” star Victoria Justice hosted the show on Saturday, about six weeks after the original date. Notwithstanding the awards and slime given out, the show made a $1 million donation to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to help end childhood hunger and help individuals influenced by COVID-19.
Netflix’s “Stranger Things” won favorite TV show and star Millie Bobby Brown brought home the favorite TV actress award for her role as Eleven. BTS, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X all won music awards.
