2025 USA Swimming Championships and Trials for World Championships Full Schedule, Date, Time and How to Watch

The 2025 USA Swimming Championships will include Gretchen Walsh and Katie Ledecky, a nine-time Olympic champion. The competition will be held at Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis from June 3-7, and it will also serve as the U.S. trials for the World Championships.

Gretchen Walsh, who won four Olympic medals in Paris 2024, will join her in Indianapolis. At the Fort Lauderdale TYR Pro Swim tournament, the pair set world records.

But with athletes like Regan Smith, Kate Douglass, Bobby Finke, Caeleb Dressel, Shaine Casas, and others expected to compete, Ledecky and Walsh won’t be the only celebrities fighting for spots on the US squad for the World Championships. Lilly King, a three-time Olympic gold medallist, will also compete in her final home event after a remarkable career.

At the TYR Pro Swim Series Fort Lauderdale, Ledecky, a nine-time Olympic gold winner, swam 8:04.12, breaking her own record from the 2016 Rio Olympics.

In the same session, Walsh, a four-time medallist at Paris 2024, broke the world record for the 100-meter butterfly, matching Ledecky’s record. In addition, her time of 54.60 seconds was the first time a female competitor had recorded a time under 55 seconds.

Regan Smith and Kate Douglass are among the other Olympic stars who will join that powerful duo.

Leading the field in the men’s events is Bobby Finke, the only American to win an individual gold medal in Paris. Following a recent victory over Olympic champion Leon Marchand in the men’s 200-meter IM, Shaine Casas starts with confidence.
